Terms and Conditions 1- Full fees for Celebrants and Photographers must be paid in order to start your booking, these payments are non-refundable under any circumstances. A postponement of up to 12 months may be granted, if requested in writing, a $220 reschedule fee shall apply for the Celebrant and Photographer. 1a. Bookings are not confirmed until you have received an email from I Do Drive Thru confirming we have received payment and your date is available. If your wedding date is not available, we will suggest an alternate date. 2- Reschedule of dates once booked have a $220 reschedule fee (including interstate transfers, for each new date set for each the Celebrant and Photographer. Notice is to be given in writing and confirmed by us, before the new date will be actioned. 2a. Travel fees are charged for any location more than 30km from a capital city for the Celebrant, Photographer and any required witnesses. 3- Unless fees are paid in full prior to the ceremony it is up to the Celebrants discretion as to whether the ceremony will proceed. 4- Public holidays, state holidays, special dates and Valentines day will produce a peak fee (please enquire before booking). 4a- Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs weddings must take place between 10am-4pm (or an after hours fee is applied), Fri, Sat, Sun weddings before 12pm must take place between 9am-12pm and Fri, Sat and Sun weddings after 12pm must take place between 12pm-6pm. Any weddings that take place at a reasonable hour outside of these parameters will incur an additional $220 out of hours fee (If a midnight wedding is required the additional fee is $350, these fees are applicable to both the Celebrant and additionally the Photographer). 5- Please consider Plan B should the weather look uninviting. Should it be a code red day, flooding or any type of dangerous weather/alien/virus element the Celebrant will contact you and they reserve the right to put their safety first and delay/postpone proceedings as per recommendations made by the Attorney Generals Department. 6- Should either marrying party arrive more than 15 minutes late the Celebrant and Photographer reserve the right to return to the wedding at a later time (as sometimes multiple weddings are booked in one day) and as such an extra $330 will be charged to the clients, or alternatively $55 for every 15 minutes wait time. 7- The ceremony shall not proceed, according to The Marriage Act 1961, if the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) is not received by the Celebrant at the very least one month prior to the wedding date and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that this requirement is met, the Celebrant and I Do Drive Thru accept no responsibility to ensure that NOIM's are sent to us by couples within the required timeframe. 8- The Celebrant must have sighted original birth certificates and/or passports, divorce certificates, photo ID’s and any other relevant certificates prior to the ceremony proceeding. If the client has not supplied the celebrant with such certificates, then the ceremony shall not proceed according to The Marriage Act 1961. 9-Each party shall meet with the Celebrant separately prior to the ceremony taking place, to ensure consent to proceed, this is a requirement of the Marriage Act 1961. 10- Should a ceremony need to be moved interstate for illness, restrictions in travel or other reasons, a $220 fee to move the Celebrancy and $220 fee to move the Photography services shall be incurred. All paperwork and prior payment will be made available to IDDT Celebrants and Photographers in other states. 10a- In the rare circumstance that we are unable to find a Celebrant or Photographer for your wedding date, then we will suggest other dates to you. If we cannot source a Photographer or Celebrant then we will refund your payment. 11- All external services, such as cars, permits for parks etc, permissions from AirBnB's are required to be confirmed and managed fully by the client. 11a-It is the client's responsibility to get permission from property owners, government departments, private stakeholders to hold an elopement, the IDDT takes on no responsibility for these permissions. 12- The guest limit shall not exceed the limit as per package purchased - Guests are deemed as any adult or child, babies held in arms do not count towards total guests. Upon arrival at the ceremony if the Celebrant is not satisfied that these requirements are being met, then they reserve the right to leave the ceremony without completion and refunds shall not be given, under any circumstances. 13- Standard IDDT weddings have a maximum of 10 guests (including marrying couple and witnesses), if up to 25 guests are attending the Fancy Pants Package shall be required at an additional $400, and anything over 26 guests will require the Big Kahuna Package to be purchased. 14- Your assigned Celebrant and/or Photographer may be changed at any time if required, this will not affect the ceremony or photography experience as we only hire the best. 15- Celebrants and Photographers are assigned on an availability basis and cannot be chosen by the client. 16- Photographers and Celebrants will be present at the ceremony for 30-45 mins max for the standard and Fancy Pants package and after this time they reserve the right to charge for additional photos and/or time. 17- Photographers are booked for one location only (additional locations are an extra $220). This is the location where the ceremony is booked. Alternate locations are anywhere over 150m from this location. 17a-Photographers for the Standard and Fancy Pants package will not be taking group photos or extended family photos unless negotiated at an additional fee prior to the ceremony taking place. 17a- Photographers edit according to their photography style, if you do not like the photographers style that is assigned to you, no payments will be refunded as all of our photographers are the best at what they do. If you would like raw unedited images this is at the photographers discretion and as such an additional fee may be charged. 18-The couple shall ensure there are two witnesses present at the ceremony, IDDT can provide witnesses if needed at any additional cost of $120 per witness. 19- The client shall acknowledge receipt of the Happily Ever Before and After Pamphlet and the Code of Conduct for Marriage Celebrants, as readable here- https://idodrivethru.com.au/fineprint 20- Should either the wedding party or witnesses turn up the ceremony under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the ceremony may not proceed, according to The Marriage Act 1961. 21- Should the Celebrant feel discriminated against, uncomfortable, harassed or threatened in any way, the Celebrant reserves the right to cancel the ceremony and payments will not be refunded. 22. Physical products purchased - we will refund or replace item if defective, buyer pays postage, and once assessed by us as defective we will refund or replace. 23. Physical products purchased - we will not exchange or refund for wrong sizes ordered or for products not received in time. 24. Physical Products Purchased - We only post on Fridays - please take that into consideration upon purchasing. 25. Any refunds given by IDDT for extenuating circumstance will incur a $50 admin fee.
