The Vegas has two versions. Both are completely legal. Both are completely valid. You choose which one feels right.
Just the legal words required under the Marriage Act 1961. Your celebrant says what the law requires, you both say your one legal sentence, you sign the paperwork, and you are married. That is it. Literally done over a coffee at your favourite café, at home while dinner is on the stove, or at a lookout on your lunch break. Two minutes. Legally married. Simple.

Every elopement celebrant in our network is a Commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant who has been personally handpicked by our founders. They all operate from the same ceremony scripts, they have all been with us since 2020, and they all complete their Ongoing Professional Development every year.
You will meet your celebrant on Zoom before the day — so by the time they show up to marry you, they are not a stranger. You know exactly what they are going to say, they know exactly what you want, and the whole thing is genuinely relaxed. Our founding celebrants have between 10 and 23 years of experience. This is not their side hustle. It is what they do.

A legals only ceremony — also called a paperwork only or registry style ceremony — covers only the legal requirements under the Marriage Act 1961. Your celebrant says what the law requires, you both say your one legal sentence, the paperwork is signed, and you are legally married. It takes about 2 minutes. Same legal outcome as any other ceremony. No less valid, no less real.
The 2 minute is purely the legal words — the minimum required by law. The 5 minute adds a short celebrant introduction and a brief word about the significance of the rings, making the ring exchange feel like a genuine moment rather than just a formality. Same price. You choose which feels right.
No — a ring exchange is not a legal requirement for marriage in Australia. It is entirely optional. If you want to exchange rings, your celebrant will include this. If you do not, that is completely fine. No rings, no problem.
100%. The length of the ceremony has no bearing on its legal validity. A 2 minute ceremony performed by a registered Commonwealth Marriage Celebrant, with the required legal words said and the paperwork correctly signed and lodged, is exactly as legally valid as a 2 hour ceremony in a cathedral. Same outcome. Different amount of words.
The minimum legal timeframe in Australia is one month — your NOIM must be lodged at least 30 days before the ceremony. Book today, complete your NOIM straight away, and you can be legally married in as little as 31 days. Book first, everything else follows.
Yes — anywhere publicly accessible is fair game. Your home, a café, a park, a beach, a car, a lookout, a rooftop, your living room. If you can get there, we can marry you there. Travel fees apply beyond 20km from capital city centres. If you are travelling interstate, we can transfer your booking to a celebrant in any Australian state for $220.
The Vegas Package covers up to 10 guests including the couple and witnesses. If you want to elope with just the two of you we supply witnesses — you do not need to bring anyone. If you have more than 10 guests, our Fancy Pants Package covers up to 25 guests from $600.
