Busselton & South West WA Elopement Celebrant
Busselton Jetty · Margaret River · Yallingup · Karri Forest · Denmark · Albany · From $400
The South West is not for the in-a-hurry. It is for the people who want to be married at the end of the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere and then spend the afternoon at a Margaret River cellar door. Or barefoot on a Yallingup beach at sunrise before anyone else arrives. Or beneath a cathedral of karri trees in Boranup Forest with light streaming through the canopy. Our local South West team has been doing this for years — and they genuinely love this region.
Local team · Busselton to Albany · LGBTQ+ celebrated · Witnesses supplied · From $400
The South West Attracts a Particular Kind of Couple.
They care about where their wine comes from. They have already been to Margaret River twice and know their favourite cellar door. They want a ceremony that is meaningful without being theatrical — barefoot on the beach, or in a forest that smells like earth and sea air, or at the end of that jetty as the light turns gold. Then a long lunch. Then the rest of their lives. We are the right team for this couple and we are very good at it.
From $400. Not $5,500. Not $9,000. From $400.
Some South West elopement operators bundle accommodation, 4WD adventures, private chefs, and luxury hampers into packages that start at thousands of dollars. Those are wonderful if that is what you want. But if you want to be legally married in the South West — with a brilliant local celebrant, a brilliant local photographer, and the ceremony done beautifully in 2 to 7 minutes — and then spend the rest of the budget on dinner at a Margaret River restaurant — we are the option for that. From $400. All paperwork included. Certificate on the day.
Where We Will Marry You in the South West
🌊 Busselton & Geographe Bay
The Busselton Jetty stretches 1.8 kilometres into Geographe Bay — the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Getting married at the end of it, with the Southern Ocean around you and the South West coast behind, is genuinely extraordinary. We have done many ceremonies here and our team knows this jetty well.
Geographe Bay is one of the calmest and most beautiful stretches of coast in WA — protected from the Southern Ocean swell, crystal clear turquoise water, and white sand. Foreshore ceremonies from Busselton to Dunsborough are relaxed, beautiful, and completely accessible. Perfect for small ceremonies where accessibility matters.
🍷 Margaret River & Wine Country
The Margaret River wine region is world class — Vasse Felix, Leeuwin Estate, Voyager Estate, and dozens of smaller cellar doors set amongst rolling vineyards. Many welcome small ceremonies in their vineyard gardens. Get married amongst the vines, walk straight into the cellar door for a tasting, and stay for lunch. This is the South West elopement done perfectly.
Yallingup and the Injidup coast are where the Indian Ocean meets ancient limestone — dramatic, wild, and extraordinarily photogenic. Barefoot ceremonies in the early morning before the surfers and day-trippers arrive. The Wilyabrup Sea Cliffs nearby offer some of the most dramatic coastal ceremony settings in the whole of WA.
Boranup Forest just south of Margaret River is a cathedral of karri trees — towering straight-trunked eucalypts that filter morning light into something extraordinary. Getting married beneath a karri canopy is a genuinely spiritual experience. The forest floor, the scale of the trees, and the silence make for ceremony photographs that look like nowhere else in Australia.
Pemberton's karri forests are even larger and more remote than Boranup — ancient trees that dwarf everything around them, forest rivers, and the profound quiet of old growth bush. The Gloucester Tree, Warren National Park, and the forest roads around Northcliffe all offer extraordinary settings for couples who want the deep South West. Travel fees apply.
🌊 Denmark, Albany & the South Coast
Greens Pool and the Elephant Rocks at William Bay National Park near Denmark are among the most beautiful natural swimming and ceremony sites in Australia — granite boulders, crystal clear protected ocean water, and a landscape that looks like it was assembled for a photographer. Denmark itself is a wonderful town for a celebration after. Travel fees apply from Busselton.
Albany is a genuine South West destination — dramatic harbour, wild Southern Ocean coastline, historic port precinct, and the Stirling Ranges as a backdrop. The Gap and Natural Bridge, Middleton Beach, and the Torndirrup Peninsula are all extraordinary ceremony settings. We have done several Albany ceremonies and our team knows this region. Travel fees apply.

The South West is genuinely beautiful all year round but each season has its character. Autumn (March to May) brings golden light, cooler weather, and the vineyards at their most photogenic. Winter is dramatic — wild Southern Ocean, empty beaches, forest mist, and that extraordinary deep South West quiet. Spring brings wildflowers through the forests. Summer is warm and busy — go early morning to beat the day-trippers. Midweek ceremonies are highly recommended year-round.
At the end of the Jetty as the light turns gold. Under a karri canopy in Boranup. Barefoot at Yallingup before anyone else arrives. At a cellar door with a glass of Margaret River wine. However the South West looks for you — from $400, any day, we will be there.
