A small wedding — sometimes called a micro wedding or intimate wedding — is simply a legal wedding ceremony with a smaller guest list. In Australia there is no legal minimum number of guests beyond the couple, their celebrant, and two witnesses. That means your small wedding can be:

How a Small Wedding Works
Vegas (up to 10 guests) or Fancy Pants (up to 25 guests). Tell us your location — home, park, beach, pub, anywhere in Melbourne. Add a photographer if you want one. Ange assigns your celebrant within one business day.
We send you the Notice of Intended Marriage form. Fill it in and return it to us — we lodge it with BDM Victoria on your behalf. Must be done at least one month before the ceremony date. NOIM lodgement is included in your package.
Meet your celebrant on Zoom. Discuss the ceremony, the location, vows, music, anything you want included. Fancy Pants couples use this call to share their love story so the celebrant can write the bespoke introduction. On the day nothing is a surprise.
Your celebrant meets you and your guests at the chosen location. The ceremony takes 2 to 7 minutes. You are legally married. Presentation certificate handed to you on the day. Marriage registered with BDM Victoria. Everything else — lunch, drinks, the rest of your lives — immediately follows.

We can supply both witnesses so you can get married with absolutely nobody else present if that is what you want.
