So you want to elope in Melbourne and you don’t know where to start?

We suggest narrowing it down to what style/backdrop you’re after for your Melbourne elopement.

Park? Forest? Graffitied laneway? Rooftop? Private hotel room? Urban chic or rugged nature?

Whatever your preference, you can be assured, we’ve held elopements all over Melbourne and Victoria... or someplace similar.

To get you started, here’s a list of our top suggestions from an hour out of Melbourne to a few hours drive:

Erskine Falls

Head down the Great Ocean Road to Lorne with your special someone and let the dramatic falls, the luscious tree ferns and streams of sunshine making its way through the trees to leave you with the best photos you can imagine. Eloping on the Bellarine Peninsula is a sure fire way to make dramatic photos!

All our celebrants and photographers are happy to take a hike and find the perfect sport that’s just right for you.

The Twelve Apostles, Great Ocean Road

Further down the Great Ocean Road, you’ll hit the famous Twelve Apostles… or however many there are left these days.

Stand atop the lookout, with the geological marvel as your backdrop and say I Do.

Classic Victorian Chic!

Wilsons Promontory

It’s a long drive but so worth the mission to get down to Wilson’s Promontory.

You can marry on squeaky beach or atop Mount Oberon.

You can choose between an oceanic backdrop, rugged rocky outcrops, a cliff-face or right up on top of the world on one of its many mountain peaks.

Not for the faint-hearted, this option can only result in amazing photos and an even more incredible experience.

Mount Donna Buang

Head to Victoria’s famous Alpine region, breathe in the fresh, fresh air, taste the crystal-clear water and enjoy the spectacular views.

Take a hike with your celebrant and photographer or choose one of the more accessible lookouts.

Either way, you can’t fail!

Redwood Forest Warburton

A little closer to Melbourne is the now infamous Redwood Forest in Warburton.

You’ve got the towering trees, the super-cute nearby town of Warburton and a myriad of cosy air bnb’s, restaurants and bars to spend your evening at afterwards.

A perfect winter elopement!

The Yarra Valley

Arguably Victoria’s most popular are to tie the knot, you don’t need to hire a winery and invite 100-500 of your nearest and dearest to take advantage of the rolling hills and fabulous food and wines.

Save your dough for your mortgage and pack a picnic instead.

The stunning backdrop doesn’t have need to hurt the purse, elope and hire a cosy place to stay instead!

Dandenong Ranges

Eloping one hour from Melbourne’s CBD is a great idea, drive out east and marry deep into the stunning rainforest in Sherbrooke, or overlooking the world at Kalorama.

You can make your way into the infamous Alfred Nicholas Gardens or just hire a great air bnb and elope in the garden!

Whatever your style, we’ve got your back, happy to throw on the heels, hiking shoes or even gumboots, depending on the need.

Try us, we’re game!
